Pets After Dark is the only after-hours tele-health service that connects you to your regular vet or a local vet who knows your regular vet – and guarantees a follow-up appointment with your regular vet during their next office day.
A Pets After Dark subscription costs only $100 per month, with a minimum 12-month subscription commitment. Pay upfront and save: You pay only $1100 for the same 12-month subscription period if you pay upfront – a savings of $100.
If you choose to pay by the month, we will charge the credit card you enter when you subscribe $100 on the first day of each of the 12 months of your annual subscription period. If you pay upfront, your credit card will be charged the full $1100 fee when you subscribe.
No. Subscriptions are non-cancellable and non-refundable. In the unfortunate event that your pet dies, we will cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle.
Yes. We offer single consultations for a fee of $150 per consultation. However we strongly recommend an annual subscription because it enables us to provide our expert care faster. (As an annual subscriber, your pet and their medical history are already in our system.) And at $100 per month/$1100 if paid upfront, an annual subscription is a much greater value for the money. That’s why we’ll credit your $150 à la carte consultation fee to your annual subscription should you choose to become an annual subscriber within 30 days of your à la carte consultation.
When you subscribe to Pets After Dark you’ll authorize us to obtain a medical summary from your regular vet (or their office). The medical summary will be kept securely on file by Pets After Dark. Should our on-call vet feel your pet’s after-hours issue is best handled by a visit to an emergency clinic, they will – with your permission – email the emergency clinic your pet’s medical summary and their observations regarding the current issue.
Your next day appointment is charged by and paid to your regular vet. It is not covered within your Pets After Dark subscription fee. The next day appointment is not mandatory, but if you and the on call vet agree you should see your regular vet tomorrow, it’s reassuring to know the appointment is there for you.
Yes! For every friend you refer to Pets After Dark who becomes a subscriber, you’ll receive a $100 credit after your friend’s first full month of membership. For example, if your friend subscribes during the month of February you’ll receive your $100 credit at the beginning of April.
